With the rapidly changing attitude toward the older generations “stuff”, we find more clients wishing to get rid of their “treasures” before their children put their special belongings in a garage sale.

That is not to say that there are no children who are very happy to receive items from their parents. There certainly are. So, when someone decides they want to dispose of one or more items, what we try to do is evaluate the items to decide what place is best for disposal.
 
There are several levels for auctions, from international auction houses all the way down to small local auctions.  Fees are mutually decided upon. Our clients come mostly from referrals, most recently from The Art Institute of Chicago, other art galleries, frame shops and our web site.
